Decades passed and Alexander was offered the chance he had wanted since his own creation had slaughtered his family. Even when Cam was subdued and the demon pact broken... it had not been enough. It was not until Alex was beckoned to Rhy'din did that chance present its self.
Wandering had served him well, he learned to interact, to offer aid, and to accept kindness. Here he forged his own Code of Honor that he still lives up to this very day. His path brought him to a strange land known as Helion. Within this realm he was welcomed. No one knew of his past, or what he was, and accepted him for his actions. Taking up the job of blacksmith, Alex crafted many items for the people, taking payment in the form of favors and food as he needed nothing else.
Like any place, it had its share of problems that manifested its self in unusual ways. The land here was filled with animals, massive creatures that likened to Alex that they were from a primordial world. To his astonishment these creatures were demons of low intelligence, but powerful. Often times the village was forced to fight these demons off. During such an encounter the Paladin known as Ar'kais made himself known. Though Alex was powerful the man saw potential in him to be come even more so.
During a training session Alex confessed what he was. A demon, though in human guise, and living underneath the scrutiny of an untrusting populace. Ar was only humbled and told Alex that he need not fear the Light because of his blood. Though the intricacies were beyond him, he knew that Alex had a soul... one filled with guilt. That alone would allow him to bask in the Light without fear. While in his human form, the Light would bless him and be his defense and his weapon. From there Ar'kais taught Alex what it meant to wield the Light... to be redeemed.
